Welcome to House of Nature Upper Danube

The House of Nature in the former station building in Beuron in the Danube Highlands offers an interactive exhibition and a wide-ranging events programme with lectures, seminars, and guided hikes. The former station building in Beuron in the district of Sigmaringen and in the Danube Highlands houses the offices of the Upper Danube Nature Conservation Centre Foundation and the Upper Danube Nature Park Association. Both organisations are committed to ensuring that the beauty and uniqueness of the nature park are preserved for future generations. An initial insight into the nature and history of the Upper Danube Nature Park is provided by the permanent exhibition on the ground floor of the House of Nature. The theme is "Living Diversity"! In the entrance area, there is information material about the excursion destinations presented in the exhibition and many other sports, leisure, and cultural offerings in the region. There is also a small shop where visitors can stock up on refreshments for in between and souvenirs for those left at home, for example from BODEG (Bäuerliche Vermarktung Oberes Donautal eG). The House of Nature also regularly offers seminars, lectures, and guided hikes as part of its annual programme.
