Nearby, the Black Forest Railway crosses an impressive viaduct over the Danube and the Danube sinkhole in the direction of Singen am Hohentwiel. However, the parking lot has only a limited capacity. Special attention is also required when exiting the parking lot due to the curve in the road. The Donaufurt sinkhole on the Danube is easily accessible on foot from the parking lot via a short descent.
