Welcome to Radolfzell Aaach

The Aach estuary into Lake Constance is located in the "Radolfzeller Aachried" nature reserve

The Radolfzeller Aach rises in the Aachtopf, the largest karst spring in Germany. A large proportion of the water comes from the Danube, whose water seeps away in Immendingen/Tuttlingen-Möhringen and Fridingen and continues to flow underground to the Aachtopf. The Radolfzeller Aach is therefore virtually the part of the Danube that flows through Lake Constance and the Rhine into the North Sea.
