Welcome to the Honberg ruins

Today, the Honberg ruins are a landmark of Tuttlingen and dominate the townscape with their two characteristic towers.

The Honberg ruins are located in the middle of the town of Tuttlingen. Today they are a landmark and characterize the townscape with their two characteristic towers. Historically speaking, the Honberg was the first fortification on Württemberg territory and is of particular architectural and historical value. The Honberger jesters' association awakens the "Kischtämännle" every year at the opening of the carnival season. The Honberg Summer open air festival also takes place in summer.

The Zinnentrum on Tuttlingen's local mountain is open from May to September (always on the last Saturday of the month from 15:00 to 18:00). Small activities for children and families are offered in the small castle courtyard during opening hours. During the Honberg Summer, the tower is even open daily before the start of concerts.
