Welcome to Angerhalle (cultural stage) Möhringen
The Angerhalle is a special stage and an important part of the cultural offerings at Tuttlinger Hallen. It is primarily a venue for cabaret. Enjoy the unique, fascinating atmosphere of a variety theater. Since the early 1990s, the Angerhalle in the Möhringen district of Baden has been home to the Tuttlingen cabaret series "Bühne im Anger" (Stage in the Meadow) – with almost 20 selected events per year from the genres of cabaret, chanson, comedy, variety, and music. Special events from the series are also occasionally held in the Tuttlingen City Hall. Seated at bistro tables or on bar stools, by candlelight and with refreshments, our audience enjoys the crème de la crème of the international cabaret scene – up close and personal! Since 2001, the city of Tuttlingen has been awarding one of the most important German cabaret prizes, the "Tuttlinger Krähe" (Tuttlingen Crow). Applications for the competition in the Angerhalle Möhringen come from all over the German-speaking world and even beyond. Every year, 100 or more applicants compete for the twelve places in the final. The well-endowed prize (€16,000 in prize money, total endowment over €25,000) is
one of the most prestigious competitions in the scene. In addition to the prize money, artists can also win one of the most original and beautiful cabaret prizes in Germany, a bronze sculpture by Tuttlingen sculptor Roland Martin, at this multi-day festival of "great little art."
The architecturally successful building, with its appealing choice of colors and materials, also offers the right setting for your event. It can be used in a variety of ways for a wide range of events in a pleasant atmosphere: conferences, seminars, lectures, cultural events, weddings, and much more.
