The fascination of Danube infiltration
Cycling
78194 Immendingen
The tour connects the Donau cycle path in Donaubergland with the Neckar Valley cycle path towards the source of the Neckar in Villingen-Schwenningen, two of the most important Landesradfernwege in Baden-Württemberg.
This is one of the most interesting cycle tours in Baden-Württemberg. It connects the two most important rivers in the state, the Danube and the Neckar. It also connects two of the most popular cycle routes in the state, the Danube Cycle Route and the Neckar Valley Cycle Route.
The route is therefore an important link for the cycle paths through the Donaubergland region. At the start in Immendingen (with a short detour) is the Danube seepage, a unique phenomenon in the world.
In addition to the Danube and the Danube seepage at the start, you will encounter the theme of water at several points on the tour: the Amtenhauser Bach, the Talbach, the Krähenbach, the Riedwiesensee, the Schönbach, the Gaugersee near Trossingen, the Naturbad Troase and the Neckar at the end.
The tour offers a few smaller climbs. In the opposite direction (from the Neckar to the Danube), it is an easy tour.
