Welcome to Danube ford

The Danube Ford – crossing the Danube at the largest main seepage point of the Danube infiltration. This is where the Danube most frequently dries up, especially in the summer months. The city of Tuttlingen has opened up this special spot in the Möhringen district to visitors as part of the "Young Danube Landscape Park" project: On the one hand, there is access from the [Danube Cycle Path](https://www.donaubergland.de/donauradweg/), which is marked by blue steles. Alternatively, you can easily walk down from the Donaufurt car park (on the road from Möhringen to Hattingen). Stepping stones in the Danube make it possible to cross when the water level is low. When the water level is higher, the ford cannot be crossed.
