Welcome to Museum in Möhringen Town Hall

The history of Möhringen and the Möhringen Fasnet carnival are vividly presented in the town hall in Möhringen. The museum in the Möhringen town hall was opened in March 1997. Starting in the entrance area, the exhibition leads up a staircase through the many facets and developments of the old Baden town, which is now a district of Tuttlingen. The museum includes a presentation of Möhringen's local history from the Alemannic settlement onwards. Topics covered include the town's elevation to city status and market rights, emigration in the 18th and 19th centuries, and Möhringen in the 20th century. The Möhringen Fasnet carnival is also presented in detail. On the second floor, there is a rich collection of old string instruments on display.
